Sterling silver

925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure Silver and 7.5% Copper. Our silver jewellery is also plated in rhodium, which gives it that extra shine.
- Not wearing it for a long time and leaving it to tarnish.
If your silver ever becomes tarnished or oxidised, you can give it a quick clean with the polishing cloth provided.

Gold Plated Jewellery

All of our gold plated jewellery is made up of 925 sterling silver (as above) with a layer of 18ct gold on top. The more you wear your jewellery, the more the top layers eventually wear away. With gold plated jewellery, eventually, the gold layer wears down and the silver beneath shines through. That's not a problem, get in touch for our replating service!
- Wearing it 24/7 - remove before washing hands, showering, sleeping etc.
As silver is sensitive to H20, we advise removing all jewellery when you come into contact with water, especially seawater, perfume or chlorine. This will help avoid your jewellery oxidising over time and help reduce the impact on the gold plating.
If your gold plated jewellery needs a bit of TLC, you can always get in touch with us.
